Terms of use

Plain-English terms for Stock Finder, Store Finder, Stock Radar, MePOS and the CeX Tracker Discord bot. By using them you agree to these terms. Last updated 26 October 2026.

What the service is

CeX Tracker shows a copy of publicly available CeX catalogue and store information, gathered once a day, along with history and alerts built from it. It is free and provided as a hobby project.

Information may be out of date or wrong

• Prices, trade-in values and stock come from CeX and are usually refreshed once a day, so they can be hours old.
• A product shown as in stock may have sold. Nothing here reserves an item or guarantees a price.
• Price history, price changes, target-price and back-in-stock alerts are based on our daily snapshots and can be missed, delayed or wrong.
• Always check the price and availability on CeX before you travel or buy.

Using it fairly

Please don't:

• scrape the apps or the API at high volume, or try to get around rate limits or access controls;
• attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or its servers;
• use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms CeX, its staff or other users;
• share someone else's sync code or use one that isn't yours.

We may block access that looks automated or abusive.

Your sync code and notifications

A sync code works like a password for your watchlist. Keep it private: anyone who has it can see and change the list. Notifications are best-effort and may arrive late or not at all.

Availability

The service can change, pause or stop at any time, with or without notice, for example during maintenance or if CeX changes how its data is published. Data you rely on, including synced watchlists, may be lost.

Trademarks and content

CeX names, logos, product data and images belong to their respective owners and are shown for information. The CeX Tracker apps, code and design belong to their author.

Liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss arising from using it or relying on its information, including wasted journeys, missed deals or prices that turned out different. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

How we handle data is explained in the privacy notice.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change and the changelog will note it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions: the site operator.
